The role will involve:
- Field sales role selling a manufactured and distributed range of grilles, diffusers and louvres.
- National remit, but 80% of your time will be London/ South East focused.
- Project focussed, working in a field sales team of two.
- 70% managing relationships with M&E contractors, 30% specification sales led with M&E consultants and architects.
- 70% new business development, 30% account management (approx. £2m pipeline over the next 2.5 years).
- 4 days a week on the road, one day admin/ home working.
- Grow the business from current £3.7m to £4.3m combined turnover.
- Projects typically 40% commercial, 60% high rise residential and currently 60% refurbishment and 40% new build.
- Order values typically £20,000 but can range from £10,000-£250,000.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Proven field sales track record of having sold HVAC or ventilation products.
- M&E Contractor led field sales experience.
- Open to most HVAC/ building services industry experience such as; ventilation, diffusion, floor grilles, louvres, grilles, diffusers, pipework, insulation etc.
- Experience winning specification projects via M&E consultants or architects would be nice to have.
- New business tenacity and drive.
- Technically capable.
- A track record of dealing with refurbishment and new build projects.
- Ability to work on own initiative and works well with others.
- Self-motivated, good communicator and IT literate.
