The role will involve:
- Overseeing and managing a range of hard & soft landscaping projects
- Primarily a site based position visiting projects across London, overseeing an internal team of contractors and labourers
- A strong mix of installation / maintenance work & people / project management
- Working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams
- Ensuring that all projects are completed successfully in a timely manner
- Adhering to all regulations, policies and health and safety procedures
- Liaising with maintenance staff to ensure that machinery is fully operational and down time is a minimum
- Providing regular feedback, training and support to the workforce, helping to drive performance, productivity and employee development
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience as one or more of the following: Operations Manager, Team Leader / Working Foreman / Landscaping Supervisor or a closely related role
- Experience within the Landscaping or closely related market sector
- Knowledge of Horter culture, vegetation or related would be highly advantageous
- An existing CSCS card is beneficial
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- IT literacy and familiarity with manufacturing software
- Proactive, motivated, and highly organised
