The role of the Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Works will involve:

  • Project Manager position responsible for a range of civil engineering, infrastructure, drainage and highway contracts.
  • Regular site visits across Yorkshire, North East and the North West to monitor project progress, health & safety compliance and contractor performance.
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and project information to identify risks and requirements.
  • Preparing scopes, specifications and methodologies while supporting tenders and pre-construction.
  • Coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Managing project costs, variations, forecasts and commercial performance.
  • Monitoring programmes, identifying risks and delays, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring projects meet health & safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing projects with a value of up to £7m although typically £1m-£2m.

The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Works with:

  • Must have Project Management experience within the civils, infrastructure, drainage, highways or come from a closely related background.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills).
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal.
  • Must be a great team player.
  • High levels of organisation.
