The role of the Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Works will involve:
- Project Manager position responsible for a range of civil engineering, infrastructure, drainage and highway contracts.
- Regular site visits across Yorkshire, North East and the North West to monitor project progress, health & safety compliance and contractor performance.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project information to identify risks and requirements.
- Preparing scopes, specifications and methodologies while supporting tenders and pre-construction.
- Coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Managing project costs, variations, forecasts and commercial performance.
- Monitoring programmes, identifying risks and delays, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensuring projects meet health & safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing projects with a value of up to £7m although typically £1m-£2m.
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Works with:
- Must have Project Management experience within the civils, infrastructure, drainage, highways or come from a closely related background.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills).
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal.
- Must be a great team player.
- High levels of organisation.
