The role of the Contracts Manager Commercial Flooring will involve managing various commercial flooring projects. Responsibilities include:
- Manage commercial flooring projects from tender through to completion
- Carry out site surveys, prepare accurate quotations, and oversee tender submissions
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality installations and compliance with H&S standards
- Build strong client and supplier relationships while managing budgets and project profitability
- Provide progress reports, forecasts, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery
- Manage projects ranging in value up to circa £1m
Qualifications:
- Must have Contract Management / Project Management experience within the flooring market sector
- Ideally have knowledge of various flooring systems such as vinyl, safety vinyl, sheet vinyl, commercial carpets, carpet tiles, rubber flooring, vinyl flooring, LVT
- Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Must be a resilient individual who is able to manage site installers
- Professional and highly organised
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving licence
