Responsibilities
- Field sales position selling a manufactured range of fire doors.
- New business development role.
- Manage a portfolio with 60% of projects in social housing and 40% in education, healthcare, commercial, residential and facilities management sectors.
- Sell primarily to owner/MDs of building contractors, joinery contractors, and installers.
- Influence housing associations and social housing framework providers at regional buyer, operational or compliance manager level.
- Grow the area by £1.5m.
- Average project size around £50,000.
- Pursue lapsed accounts and utilise Glenigan leads and ZoomInfo.
- Visit client depots twice per month.
- Deal with both new build and refurbishment projects.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate
- Must have field sales experience with related customers (housing associations, social housing providers, FM companies, education, healthcare, commercial or residential).
- New business hunter.
- Sold into a contractor/installer network; not required to be Tier Ones.
- Specific knowledge of fire doors is not essential.
- General appreciation for passive fire protection preferred.
- Team player yet able to work autonomously.
