The role of the Internal Business Development Manager – GRP Products will involve:
- Sales Manager role, selling a manufactured range of permanent GRP formwork products for bridges.
- Dealing with main contractors, subcontractors, architects and specifying consultants.
- Responsible for managing and developing sales strategies.
- Building, fostering and developing relationships with clients.
- Majority of the role will be chasing new business as no project is the same.
- Arranging CPDs for the Head of Sales.
- Liaising with Estimating, Production and Design teams to ensure deadlines are adhered to and projects run smoothly.
- Occasionally will be required to attend client visits and CPDs (1-2 overnight stays per month).
- Contributing to the UK sales target, roughly bringing in circa £3.5m per year.
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Business Development Manager – GRP Products with:
- Must have extensive outbound sales experience within the construction industry.
- Experience within the civils or structures market sector would be advantageous.
- Ideally will have experience selling into main contractors, architects and specifying consultants.
- Must be pro-active and have excellent organisational skills.
- Experience and proficiency with a CRM system essential.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Confident & professional telephone manner.
- Hungry and looking for a career.
- Stable career background, no job hoppers.
