Responsibilities

  • Sales Executive role, selling a manufactured range of permanent GRP formwork products for bridges.
  • Dealing with main contractors, subcontractors, architects and specifying consultants.
  • Responsible for managing and developing sales strategies.
  • Building, fostering and developing relationships with clients.
  • Majority of the role will be chasing new business as no project is the same.
  • Arranging CPDS for the Head of Sales.
  • Liaising with Estimating, Production and Design teams to ensure deadlines are adhered and projects run smoothly.
  • Occasionally will be required to attend client visits and CPDs (1-2 overnight stays per month).
  • Contributing to the UK sales target, roughly bringing in circa £3.5m per year.

Qualifications

  • Must have extensive outbound sales experience within the construction industry.
  • Experience within structural steel, steel beams, civils, concrete or main contracting would be preferred.
  • Ideally will have experience dealing with CPDs & specification.
  • Must be pro‑active and have excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience and proficiency with a CRM system essential.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Confident & professional telephone manner.
  • Hungry and looking for a career.
  • Stable career background, no job hoppers.
