Up to £60,000 base + £6,000-£15,000 bonus

Role Overview

• 70% of your time selling into M&E sub‑contractors and back selling through national (BSS, Pipe Center etc.) and independent plumbing & heating merchants, ensuring distributors and local stockists are fully informed of new products.
• 30% generating specifications with M&E consultants, local authorities, health authorities, other specifiers and specialist specifiers.
• Majority of your time generating new business through developing existing accounts.
• Project sizes ranging from £5,000 up to £200,000, with an average order value of £20,000.
• Taking over a territory that was opened through an internal promotion, currently tracking ahead of budget.
• Current revenue responsibility of £1m‑£1.5m; tasked with a 5‑6% increase next year.
• Maintain a well‑organised CRM system.

Ideal Applicant

• Proven field sales experience within the building services industry.
• Experience selling into M&E contractors (contacts not essential but advantageous).
• Commercial pump sales background is not essential; full product training will be provided.
• Open to all commercial building services products such as pumps, boilers, valves or other heating and ventilation (H&V) associated products.
• Potentially considering a domestic heating field sales background looking to transition.
• Specification field sales experience with M&E consultants advantageous but not essential.
• Technical ability with polished, career‑oriented mindset (not a manager seeking a backward step).
