Remuneration: £40,000 – £45,000 + Company Bonus

Benefits: 28 days annual leave, pension

Responsibilities

• Promote a high quality range of various fire doors and passive fire protection products.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and the operations team.
• Prepare and oversee project budget and cost plans.
• Carry out risk and value management.
• Estimate and review quotations and ensure they are cost effective and competitive.
• Daily liaising with the operational and commercial teams.
• Take overall responsibility for the costing of quotations and tender returns.
• Work on projects ranging in value from £1k to £1m.

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

• Must have Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager experience within the construction industry.
• Ideally extensive knowledge of passive fire protection, fire stopping and fire doors.
• Ideally experience with JCT and/or NEC construction contract types.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal.
• Must be a great team player.
• High levels of organisation.
• Confident individual that can deal with any problems that occur on site.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Wants to take charge and be in control.
