Responsibilities

• Deal with a range of drainage, civils, sewers, earthworks, pumping stations and wet wells.
• Keep up to date with site progress, record progress made, and transfer information onto monthly payment applications.
• Update any changes to the agreed contract scope.
• Quote projects and provide valuations.
• Review labour schedules and compare to actual progress on site.
• Price variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters.
• Review project drawings, compare construction drawings to tender drawings, and document any changes.
• Work on projects ranging from £500,000 to £5,000,000.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civils & drainage or associated industries such as rail, highways, roads, sewers, drainage and groundworks.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Proactive and motivated with strong commercial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence.
