Production Manager – Bespoke Joinery / Hardwood Flooring Job reference Number: 107369-5193-25149 Location: East Midlands Remuneration: £45,000 – £50,000 discretionary bonus Benefits: Full benefits package The role of the Production Manager – Bespoke Joinery / Hardwood Flooring will involve: Production Manager position that will focus on a high end manufactured range of hard wood flooring such as: parquetry, marquetry, antique and boarded floors Manage and oversee the production personnel to achieve maximum production efficiency (team of 10) Ensure all work is carried out to required quality standards and within deadlines Ensure that all regulations, policies and health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times Maintaining timber inventory levels and other required stock Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery Diagnose and resolve technical issues or escalate complex problems as needed Identify areas of the production line that need improving to increase productivity Provide regular feedback to the workforce around performance The ideal applicant will be Production Manager – Bespoke Joinery / Hardwood Flooring with: Must have experience working in a similar production / workshop environment dealing with timber engineering, wooden flooring, bespoke joinery, or furniture Excellent management and leadership skills Sound technical understanding of the machinery used (sanders, laser cutters, cross cut saws etc) High levels of attention to detail and organisation Ideally will have experience on the tools and worked up to supervisor / manager level Good understanding of health and safety regulations Ideally familiar with Lean or Six Sigma principles Proficiency with workshop management software and Microsoft Office tools
