The role of the Procurement Manager – uPVC & Aluminium Fenestration Systems will involve:
- Dealing with a manufactured range of uPVC and aluminium fenestration systems.
- Leading and managing the implementation of a new stock management system across 2 sites.
- Focusing on optimising procurement processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, and integrating purchasing functions to improve inventory control and supplier management.
- Collaborating with IT, warehouse, finance, and other internal departments to ensure seamless integration of the new system.
- Defining system requirements and working closely with vendors and developers to customise the system as required.
- Monitoring and managing supplier performance and order processes, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
- Overseeing purchase order completion, approval workflows, and stock replenishment.
- Managing a procurement team of circa 4.
The ideal applicant will be a Procurement Manager – uPVC & Aluminium Fenestration Systems with:
- Procurement/Buying leadership experience within the fenestration market sector.
- Experience utilising Window Designer or similar.
- A procurement qualification (CIPS).
- Hands-on experience with stock management or ERP system implementation (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and decision-making capability.
