The role of the Quantity Surveyor – Construction will involve:
- Dealing with a wide range of large scale commercial and residential projects
- Managing the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained
- Preparing cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts
- Supporting procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration
- Carrying out regular site visits, monitoring project progress, and identifying commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery
The ideal applicant will have:
- Quantity Surveyor experience within the construction industry
- Experience within large scale commercial projects (ideally)
- IT literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- A proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
