The role of the Pre-Contracts Manager – Commercial Office Fit Out will involve:

  • Estimator position dealing with a range of commercial office fit out projects.
  • Manage client enquiries by arranging survey meetings, understanding project briefs, carrying out measured surveys, and maintaining clear communication throughout.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates by analysing survey information, obtaining supplier pricing, and producing detailed quotations and schedules of works.
  • Coordinate design information including drawings, layouts, and visual materials to support client proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain project and quotation records by logging enquiries, updating systems, revising estimates, and tracking project progress.
  • Support project handover by finalising scope, costs, and documentation and ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team.
  • Working on projects ranging in value up to £1m.

The ideal applicant will be a Pre-Contracts Manager – Commercial Office Fit Out with:

  • Must have estimating experience within the construction industry.
  • Ideally have estimating experience within fit out or related market sector such as: shopfitting, refurbishment, design & build, joinery or FF&E.
  • Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Good team player who also works well individually.
