Job Title: National Sales Representative – Heavy Plant Hire and Cranes

The role of the National Sales Representative – Heavy Plant Hire and Cranes will involve:

  • Field sales role selling the hire of crawler cranes, piling equipment and trench shoring systems
  • Targeting main contractors, specialist sub contractors, ground workers, sub contractors and infrastructure businesses
  • Providing regular sales updates to the Sales Manager and forecasted sales utilising the CRM system
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations
  • Negotiate and build strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Attending trade exhibitions as and when required

The ideal applicant will be an National Sales Representative – Heavy Plant Hire and Cranes with:

  • Proven sales experience within the heavy plant or machinery hire industry
  • Ideally will have experience with crane hire and piling equipment
  • Would consider someone on the up in their career
  • Previous experience of selling to construction sites
  • Open to related products such as; formwork, mobile cranes, falsework, diggers, dumpers, forklifts, excavators, platforms, trucks, mast climbers etc
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Motivated, keen to learn, hungry and autonomous
