The role of the Estimator – Aluminium Glazing Systems will involve:
- Overseeing a high-quality range of windows, doors and glazing system projects
- Preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing drawings and specifications using Logikal software
- Visiting projects across the North West to further understand client requirements, measurements or to resolve issues
- Leading end-to-end tendering process, including take-offs, pricing, submission, and handover
- Managing and tracking tender opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups to maximise conversions
- Engaging with clients and contractors through site visits, technical input, and value engineering to support bids
- Overseeing projects up to £2m in value
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Aluminium Glazing Systems with:
- Experience using Logikal software
- Previous estimating experience; candidates from closely related backgrounds (such as Order Processors, Quantity Surveyors, Sales Estimators or Commercial Administrators) are also encouraged to apply
- Experience within the windows, doors, glazing or closely related sectors
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- A hard worker that’s ready to get stuck in
- High levels of organisation
- A confident individual that can deal with any problems that occur on site
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
