Role Overview: The role employs a field sales position promoting loading bay safety solutions for warehousing, focusing on distribution centres, food & beverage, and retail. You will safeguard against accidental drive-aways into warehouse facilities, targeting health & safety managers, operations managers, and finance managers.
Responsibilities:
- Promote loading bay safety solutions valued between £25,000-£150,000.
- Build a network of approximately 10 industrial door/loading bay installers.
- Sell directly to end users and owners of warehousing facilities or 3PL companies, discussing safety requirements for loading bays.
- Grow the existing loading bay value of approximately £1.5m.
Qualifications:
- Proven hunter with a field sales track record in business development.
- Experience selling into warehouse-associated facilities.
- Prior sector experience within distribution centres, food & beverage, or retail ideal.
- Knowledge of loading bays is advantageous.
- Self-starter with a coachable mentality.
- Operations experience in warehousing considered a plus.
