The role of the Sales Estimator – Architectural Stonework will involve:
- Sales Estimator position dealing with a high quality manufactured range of architectural stonework such as facades, cladding, wall dressings, window dressings, balustrades, landscaping & paving.
- Producing quotes & take offs from architectural drawings.
- Producing CAD designs / drawings relevant to the project.
- Manage the process from enquiry through to completion.
- Office based role with some requirement to visit customers, typically the home counties region.
- Liaising with architects, specifiers, main contractors, sub-contractors, and private end users.
- Reviewing drawings and gaining an understanding of projects/requirements.
- Working on projects varying in size from £10k to £250k.
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Estimator – Architectural Stonework with:
- Must have experience within the building products sector, ideal to have a technical understanding of: stone, façade, lintels or a closely related product/system.
- Must have experience as one or more of the following: Designer, Architectural Technician, Sales Executive, Estimator, Draughtsman or closely related.
- Highly advantageous to have AutoCAD experience.
- Strong relationship builder.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
