Contracts Manager – Construction Job Title: Contracts Manager – Industrial, Residential & Commercial Construction Office Based: Lancashire (Covering projects across the North West) Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000neg + Company car allowance Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Contracts Manager – Construction will involve: Contracts Manager position overseeing a broad range of new build construction and refurbishment projects Planning and programming projects to meet detailed schedules and contractual requirements Managing procurement and material reconciliation to ensure best value and prevent delays Briefing and supporting site/project teams to ensure full understanding of contractual obligations Carrying out weekly reviews of progress, budgets, resources, and forward planning Coordinating permanent and temporary staff in line with project and contractual needs Managing subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and company procedures Oversee projects up to £20m in value (typically £8m) The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager – Construction with: Must have Contracts Management experience within the construction sector Highly advantageous to come from a Tier 1 Main contractor An ideal candidate will possess experience dealing with a range of new-build and refurbishment contracts Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal Must be a great team player Must be a hard worker that’s ready to get stuck in High levels of organisation Confident individual that can deal with any problems that occur on site Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
