The role will involve:

  • Commissioning Engineer position dealing with a range of smart lighting and lighting control systems
  • Carry out preventative planned maintenance, commission, servicing and testing on commercial smart light systems
  • Offering aftersales care / technical advice to customers and end users
  • IP network configuration of routers, gateways, and user interfaces
  • Completing all relevant documentation (H&S, snags, SARs & completed works)
  • Identify system upgrade opportunities and liaise with KAM

The ideal applicant will:

  • Must have commissioning, servicing and testing experience within the smart lighting market sector
  • Must have ECS card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) / CSCS Card
  • 18th Edition / 19th Edition electrical qualification
  • Familiar with DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface)
  • Knowledge and experience in configuring routers, gateways, and user interfaces for IP networks
  • Comfortable preparing and maintaining various reports, including snag reports, health check reports, and system backups
  • Physically demanding role, must be able to carry 10kg backpack daily to site
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • IT Literate
