Role Overview: Technical Manager for a manufactured range of dust, fume & mist extraction products including downdraught benches, dust control booths, mist filters, air cleaning systems, and tool vacuum systems. Provide guidance on application of the product range across industries such as rail, automotive, aerospace, tool hire, stone masonry, manufacturing, and engineering. Assist with customer enquiries by offering technical advice and support. Keep up to date with relevant standards and company documentation to ensure compliance. Serve as the internal subject‑matter expert on technical aspects of the product line. Develop detailed design specifications for products and projects and identify third‑party solutions and suppliers to create a complete product offering.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Technical Manager for dust, fume & mist extraction products.
- Advise on product application across multiple industries.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide technical support.
- Maintain knowledge of standards and compliance documentation.
- Serve as internal subject‑matter expert.
- Develop detailed design specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Engineering background within ventilation or related fields such as HVAC, manufacturing or heavy commercial machinery.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor (ideally).
- Understanding of relevant manufacturing and ventilation standards (ideally).
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Customer focused and oriented.
- Valid driving licence.
