Location: Chesterfield

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus tbc

Schedule: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday

The role of the Estimator – Flat Roofing Systems will involve:

  • Promoting the installation, maintenance and repair of flat roofing systems such as single ply, liquid applied, built-up felt, hot melt, and hard metal roofing systems
  • Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
  • Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices
  • Producing formal quotations to clients
  • Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Estimating for projects ranging in value up to circa £1m

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Flat Roofing Systems with:

  • Estimating experience within the roofing, cladding or related market sectors
  • Sound understanding of roofing and building legislation
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong numerical skills
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly savvy in Excel)
  • Confident and articulate individual
