The role of the Quantity Surveyor β Glazing will involve:
- Quantity Surveyor position dealing with windows, glazing, and doors
- Meeting with clients for site visits and building relationships
- Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
- Producing formal quotations to customers
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
- Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Contacting customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Working on projects ranging between Β£100k β Β£3.5m
The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor β Glazing with:
- Must have experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Ideally have experience/exposure within glazing, windows, curtain walling, or related
- Proven experience working with clients tendering and managing bids
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills
