The role of the Designer – Bespoke Joinery & Furniture will involve:

  • Dealing with a high end bespoke range of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
  • Liaising with clients to interpret and refine their design vision into practical, technical joinery solutions
  • Overseeing the preparation of manufacturing drawings, coordinating materials and production details, and ensuring installation requirements are fully considered from the outset
  • Liaising with the client to obtain further information that is required
  • Producing clear 2D & 3D drawings using Solidworks
  • Attending site surveys as needed to support accurate design development and installation planning
  • Liaising with procurement, project and workshop teams regarding any long lead time materials
  • Working on projects ranging in value from £100k – £1.5m

The ideal applicant will be a Designer – Bespoke Joinery & Furniture with:

  • Design experience utilising Solidworks software
  • Experience within the bespoke furniture, joinery or fit out market sectors
  • The ability to read technical drawings
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • A genuine ‘get up and go’ work ethic
