The role of the Designer Fire Sprinkler Systems will involve:

  • Designer position dealing with a high-quality range of fire rated sprinkler systems for commercial and residential projects
  • Prepare 2D AutoCAD designs in line with project specifications
  • Ensure that designs meet client requirements
  • Liaise regularly with architects, engineers, and contractors providing excellent customer service
  • Produce fabrication schedules and material summaries
  • Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
  • Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
  • Attend design meetings as and when required
  • Dealing with projects ranging in value from £1k to £1m

The ideal applicant will be a Designer Fire Sprinkler Systems with:

  • Must have experience dealing with sprinkler systems
  • Must have extensive Design experience ideally within the Fire sector
  • Will possess a related design qualification & be up to date with regulations
  • Ideally 2D/3D AutoCAD system experience
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
  • Must be a hard worker that's ready to get stuck in
  • High levels of organisation
  • Confident individual that can deal with any problems that occur on site
  • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
