The role of the Senior Design Manager – Façade Systems will involve:
- Management and design of a high quality manufactured range of façade systems for commercial projects.
- Attending design meetings both virtually and in person weekly.
- Building, growing and managing an internal team of Designers while working closely with architects, engineers, project managers and clients.
- Supporting both external sales and internal teams, providing technical input and ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Developing detailed design specifications for products and projects.
- Offering 1st line technical support by telephone, email and occasional site visits.
- Supporting new product launches and exhibitions as required.
- Reviewing, creating and analysing project/product designs.
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Design Manager – Façade Systems with:
- A technical understanding of the building envelope market sector including facades, cladding, curtain walling, glazing or a closely related product/system.
- People management experience.
- Excellent design experience using AutoCAD / BIM / Revit.
- Great communication skills.
- Existing project management experience (ideal).
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
