The Internal Business Development Manager for Height Safety Systems will focus on selling the installation of height safety systems to property & facility managers, contractors and end users such as schools and commercial clients. This is an internal sales position where the successful candidate will manage a pipeline of tenders, consult with clients, propose solutions and track quotes.
Responsibilities
- Sell the installation of height safety systems, managing a pipeline of ongoing and upcoming tenders.
- Consult with clients to understand their requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
- Track and follow up on quotes sent out by the estimating team.
- Handle projects ranging from £25,000 to £1m in size.
- Sell to property & facility managers, contractors and end users such as schools and commercial clients.
Qualifications
- Strong B2B sales experience, ideally within a sub-contractor environment.
- Experience selling height safety solutions or in related industries such as fire, security, lightning protection, electrical, etc.
- Familiarity with HubSpot software.
- Hungry and motivated to succeed.
- Strong computer fluency.
- Confident on the phone with customers.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels.
