Overview
Area Sales Manager Chimney / Flue Systems role at Mitchell Maguire Recruitment Ltd. Area to be covered: North England & Scotland. Remuneration: £50,000 negotiable + 12.5% bonus. Benefits: hybrid company car and comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of steel flue systems.
- Focus on residential projects; majority of time spent selling to specialist distributors & OEMs (examples: Specflue, NCC & New Vent).
- Remaining time focused on retailers & installers.
- Inheriting a well-established area currently turning over £6m.
- Maintain and grow 40 accounts; liaise with internal sales team to increase sales and support CPD when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have technical field sales experience in related fields such as chimney systems, flues, ventilation, fluid technology, water movement, gas movement, drainage, plumbing & heating, renewables, HVAC, etc.
- Ideally sold to specialist distributors, plumbing & heating merchants, OEMs, installers and retailers.
- Open to candidates currently working for a plumbers merchant or distributor who are looking to move to on-the-road sales.
- Genuine get-up-and-go work ethic; results-oriented, hungry and enthusiastic.
