Remuneration: £39,000 + £5,000-£10,000 commission
Benefits: Hybrid company car & benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager Blinds & Shutters will involve:
Field sales position selling a range of blinds and home furnishings
Selling into independent retailers and direct to the trade via: shutter & blind installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors
Will a inherit a well-established area currently turning over circa £350,000
Tasked with growing to the area to £750,000 over the next few years
Customers vary in size from £1,000-£20,000 turnover
Inheriting 150 customers on patch
Will be expected to generate new business however the majority of your time will be spent managing existing customers
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager Blinds & Shutters with:
Must have field sales experience selling direct to the trade (not B2C or to the public)
Ideally from the home furnishing sector
Preferably sold; blinds shutters, curtains, fabrics, upholstery, wall coverings etc.
Must be able to plan your own diary
Genuine hunger and tenacity
Friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm
