Area to be covered: North
Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE + 20% bonus
Benefits: £500 - £600 car allowance and full benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager -Civil Building Products will involve:
- Field sales role promoting predominantly a manufactured range of access & drainage solutions such as: access cover, gully gratings, steel covers, drainage
- 50% of your time will be spent selling to national & independent civil’s merchants such as: Burdens, Keyline, Civils & Lintel and JDP
- The remaining 50% will be spilt evenly selling to contractors & utilities
- Once up and running will be expected to turnover £1m
- Working closely with and reporting to SD & MD
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Civil Building Products with:
- Must have worked for or sold to builders merchants or contractors
- Open in terms of what products you’ve sold
- Would consider an internal sales / branch professional working for merchant such as Jewson Civils, JDP, Keylite and Burdens
- Would consider someone from a tier 1 contractor focusing on infrastructure projects
- Ideally sold some civils or heavyside building products such as; building drainage, manhole covers, access covers, gratings, linear drainage channel, underground pipes and fittings, security chambers/ covers etc.
- Autonomous in nature
- Structured sales process/ territory management skills
