The role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Roofing will involve:

  • Assistant Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range of commercial & industrial roofing systems across education, healthcare and public sectors
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, quotations, and tender submissions including labour, materials, prelims, and programme considerations
  • Work closely with the Senior Contracts Manager to ensure each project is running successfully
  • Building strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors
  • Review project specifications, drawings and contract documentation to identify commercial requirements
  • Working multiple projects at one time, varying in size from £50k - £1m+

The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Roofing with:

  • Must have Quantity Surveying experience within the construction / trade sector
  • Highly advantageous to be an Assistant / Junior Quantity Surveyor within roofing
  • Beneficial to possess a related degree (quantity surveying, construction management etc.)
  • Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Full UK driving license
