The role of the Quantity Surveyor - Construction will involve:
- Quantity Surveyor positions dealing with a wide range of large scale commercial and residential projects
- Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained.
- Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.
- Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration.
- Carry out regular site visits, monitor project progress, and identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor - Construction experience with:
- Must have Quantity Surveyor experience within the construction industry
- Ideally will have experience within large scale commercial projects
- Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
