Job Title: Estimator - Building Services

Location: Banbury, covering surrounding areas (80/20 split between site visits & office)
Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000
Benefits: Fuel expenses, 22 days annual leave, Health schemes and Company benefits package
The role of the Estimator - Building Services will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with a range of mechanical, electrical and air-conditioning systems/services for commercial, residential and industrial sectors
- Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
- Working on projects where each product/system is unique and therefore requires a bespoke approach
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
- Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
- Managing projects up-to a value of £150k+
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Building Services with:
- Must have experience as an Estimator working within the M&E or HVAC sectors
- Reliable and approachable to build positive working relationships
- Confident and professional communicator, with a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
- Ability to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate cost plans
- Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills
- IT Literate particularly excel
