Senior Accountant

We're representing a well-established and growing accountancy practice looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and management accounts for client review and board meetings.

• Support year-end tax planning and personal tax submissions.

• Review year-end files and conduct analytical reviews.

• Manage, train, and develop junior staff.

• Oversee workflow and ensure deadlines are consistently met.

• Lead on client onboarding, fee proposals, and professional clearances.

• Implement new systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Contribute to achieving team fee and performance targets.

• Provide QuickBooks and Xero setup, consulting, and training.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified or QBE with strong experience in practice.

• Confident communicator who enjoys client-facing work.

• Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks).

• Proven track record in managing deadlines and supporting team development.
