Working within a close-knit transactional finance team, you will have full responsibility for managing the credit control process, ensuring prompt collection of outstanding balances and supporting effective cash flow management. You will develop and maintain strong client relationships, proactively chasing overdue invoices by phone and email, resolving queries in a timely manner, and actively working to minimise aged debt. Duties will also include monitoring aged debt reports, posting and allocating payments, reconciling customer accounts, and escalating any problematic accounts where required. You will work closely with wider internal teams to resolve discrepancies, enhance processes, and contribute to ongoing improvements within the finance department. This is a hands-on role that offers autonomy, development, and the opportunity to make a real impact.
Ideally you will have:
- Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable, with a proven ability to reduce outstanding debt
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in managing client relationships and challenging conversations
