A market-leading, asset-heavy organisation is seeking a Head of Commercial Finance & Pricing to lead its commercial performance, pricing strategy and financial decision-making across a complex, high-value operating model. This is a senior leadership role with significant influence over profitability, capital returns and long-term growth. The successful candidate will act as the financial authority on pricing, investment and commercial strategy for a business where asset utilisation, yield and return on capital are critical.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the Executive and Commercial leadership teams, you will own the end-to-end commercial finance and pricing agenda. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning pricing strategy, yield management and margin optimisation across a large asset base
- Leading commercial financial modelling for new business, renewals, tenders and major customer contracts
- Ensuring pricing reflects asset utilisation, depreciation, funding, risk and required returns
- Developing ROI, IRR and payback models for capital investment decisions
- Acting as a senior business partner to Sales, Operations and the Executive team
- Driving commercial insight, performance reporting and decision support
- Establishing governance, controls and best practice
