We are now recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team in a varied position covering both transactional and month-end accounting activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting experience within a larger group environment, gaining exposure to areas such as reconciliations, journals, management accounts, reporting and financial analysis.
Skills Needed
- Currently studying towards, or keen to pursue, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
- Experience across core accounting processes, including bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and sales ledger.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using financial systems, with the ability to analyse financial information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and work effectively within a wider finance team.
