Mitchell Adam are delighted to be working with a growing Services business who are looking to appoint a Finance Analyst to support their expanding finance team. This role is ideally suited to someone in the part-qualified stage of their finance career who is looking to build on a solid grounding in month-end while gaining wider exposure to reporting, analysis and commercial finance within a supportive environment.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will assist with the preparation of monthly management information, supporting across P&L reporting, reconciliations, accruals and variance analysis. The role will give you the opportunity to gradually build confidence working with financial data, understanding movements in performance and helping produce reporting that supports decision-making across the business. As your experience develops, you will gain increasing exposure to budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder interaction, including involvement in performance reviews with operational teams. The business is keen to develop someone over time, making this an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking for a role that offers progression, exposure and the chance to move towards a Management Accountant position in the future.
Skills Needed
- Previous experience within a finance or accounts role with some exposure to month-end tasks.
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with data and P&L accounts.
