Mitchell Adam are currently supporting a well established PE Backed business in searching for a busy time of change within the Finance Team. This role will be supporting the brand new Financial Controller by taking full ownership of the management accounts process, providing leadership to the accounts assistant and offering process improvements where necessary.

A successful candidate will have the ability to work autonomously within a dynamic workspace, preferably with experience within stock management or movement of goods. This is initially starting off as an interim position.

Ideally you will:

  • Be a part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or strong QBE
  • Have strong experience in inventory/stock accounting ideally within manufacturing or logistics driven businesses.
  • Hold Advanced Excel and ERP system experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365
  • Be able to hit the ground running in a new environment, strong attention to details and ability to work autonomously.

  • Work directly with the Financial Controller as well as experience managing a direct report.
  • Be a key contributor to accurate financial reporting and stock control as well as have full autonomy on process improvement within the role.
