Mitchell Adam are pleased to be working with a growing logistics business who are looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to support their expanding finance function. This role offers a good level of exposure across month-end and reporting, making it well suited to someone early in their studies who is looking to build on a solid grounding within a structured but evolving environment.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be involved in the preparation of monthly management information, supporting with accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations as part of the wider month-end process. You will also gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, helping to build a broader understanding of business performance over time. As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to get involved in improving processes and reporting, as well as working more closely with operational teams to ensure financial information remains accurate and relevant. The role offers a balance of routine and development, providing a steady platform to progress within finance.
