A family run company are looking to hire into their finance team. As the new Accounts Assistant, you will be communicative and motivated, but most importantly happy to get stuck in to all things finance. This is a great opportunity to work in a lovely team, and truly demonstrate your practical skills. From invoices processing to assisting with cashflows, you will work to the highest standard, ensuring all documents are cared for with great attention to detail. Additionally, you will assist with accruals, prepayments and fixed assets, as well as managing the company's overdue debt. Honestly, a little bit of everything with this position! You will have the space to grow and become integrated into the team.
Skills required
- Experience within a similar role is beneficial, allowing you to come in and hit the ground running.
- Knowledge of Excel and practical experience using XERO is desirable.
- Great organisational skills, as you will not be micromanaged and will plan your own diary.
- Great communication skills, in order to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
