We’re seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a dynamic and growing contract business that provides services across the UK.

The Role

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in providing insightful financial analysis and strategic support to operational leaders. You will help drive business performance, improve cost control, and support decision‑making through robust financial reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Partner with operational teams to analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver detailed variance analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders.
• Oversee accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support commercial tenders, pricing models, and margin analysis.
• Assist in the development of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
• Mentor and support junior members of the finance team.

About You

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with strong post‑qualification experience.
• Previous experience within contract services, hospitality, or facilities management preferred.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships across finance and operations.
• Proactive, adaptable, and results‑driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
