Group Reporting Manager

Mitchell Adam are searching for a highly experienced Interim Group Reporting specialist to support a well-established, rapidly expanding international group.

This is a senior, high-profile interim assignment reporting directly to the Group FD, we are looking for an individual who can immediately take ownership of a complex Group consolidation and year-end reporting process.

The successful individual will have significant experience operating at Group / Head Office level within a large, complex organisation and must have personally led the consolidation of multiple entities through to the Group consolidated accounts.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Group year-end close and full consolidation process across multiple divisions and legal entities.
• Preparing and reviewing annual Group consolidated accounts and subsidiary statutory accounts under FRS 102.
• Taking ownership of complex consolidation matters, including intercompany eliminations, acquisition accounting and Group adjustments.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for the Group’s external auditors and managing the year-end audit process.
• Providing senior-level technical accounting support across the Group.

To be considered, you must:

• Be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA with a Big 4 / major practice background.
• Have extensive post-qualified experience within Group Reporting, Group Financial Control or a similarly senior technical finance role.
• Have demonstrable experience of personally leading complex Group consolidations within a sizeable, multi-entity organisation.
• Have strong technical accounting and statutory reporting experience, particularly under FRS 102.
• Be comfortable dealing with complex multi-entity and international Group structures.
• Have significant experience managing external auditors through a year-end process.
• Be capable of operating autonomously and delivering with minimal support from day one.

This role is likely to suit an experienced Group Financial Controller, Head of Group Reporting, Group Finance Director-level interim or senior Group Reporting specialist who is available for an interim assignment and is comfortable stepping into a hands-on role.
