Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established investment business with a diverse portfolio of companies and investments based in the North of Birmingham.
Operating across multiple entities, the business offers a commercially focused finance environment with exposure to group reporting, financial analysis and the financial management of a varied portfolio.
We are now recruiting for a Management Accountant to join the finance team.
This is a broad and hands-on position, offering responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities and business units, alongside involvement in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and wider financial reporting.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play an important role in providing accurate financial information across the wider group.
Skills Needed
- Newly qualified or finalist ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Strong experience preparing management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Previous experience within an investment group or multi-entity environment, ideally with exposure to property investment and development businesses.
- Experience across budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and multi-company reporting, with a strong understanding of how finance supports commercial decision-making.
