Mistras Group, Inc. is seeking a Report Writer in the NDT field (Non-Destructive Testing). The role focuses on accurate documentation, compliance, and communication of inspection findings rather than performing the physical testing itself.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews NDT inspection data from technicians (UT, RT, MT, PT, etc.)
- Compiles inspection reports for clients, engineers, and regulatory bodies
- Documents defects, measurements, and findings
- Ensures reports meet industry codes and standards
- Organizes photos, scans, and test results
- Maintains inspection records and databases
- Works closely with NDT technicians, inspectors, and project managers
Qualifications:
- Strong technical writing skills
- Knowledge of inspection codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS)
- Familiarity with NDT methods
- Experience with inspection software and databases
- Ability to interpret technician notes and inspection data
