Mistral is seeking a Research Engineer to design and harden the codebase, tools, and distributed services enabling researchers to train and ship frontier-scale models. You will join the Research Software Engineering team to build and maintain shared dev-tools, evaluation pipelines, training framework, cluster tooling and CI/CD. You will work on Python and systems code, interfaces with product, and help scale complex pipelines while maintaining high reliability and observability across services.
