About the Role: Are you an editorial professional with a couple of years of experience looking to take the next step in your career? My client is seeking a sharp, highly organized Associate Editor to join our market-leading multi-channel media portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission Content: Source, pitch, and commission insightful features from high-level pharmaceutical professionals and healthcare specialists.
- Sub-Editing: Line-edit, copy-edit, and sub-edit incoming technical manuscripts and columns for flawless grammar, flow, and regulatory accuracy.
- Digital Growth: Write breaking news and repurpose print features into engaging, SEO-optimized digital formats.
- Production & Proofing: Review page layouts and check final proofs across print and digital pipelines before publication.
What We Are Looking For:
- 1–3 years of proven experience in an editorial, sub-editing, or writing-heavy role.
- An uncompromising eye for detail with strong technical editing capabilities.
- The confidence to interview and network with corporate stakeholders in London.
- B2B, pharma, or scientific publishing exposure is a distinct advantage, but a willingness to learn a complex industry is key.
