We are looking for a reliable, professional, and highly observant CCTV Operator to join our established monitoring team. This is a full-time permanent night-shift position working within a secure monitoring environment. You will be responsible for monitoring CCTV and security systems, responding to incidents, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with emergency services and other stakeholders when required.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working independently, remains calm under pressure, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and associated security technology
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Liaise with emergency services, clients, and third parties when required
- Maintain accurate incident logs and operational records
- Follow established operational procedures and security protocols
- Provide clear and accurate incident reporting
- Escalate incidents appropriately in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Essential Requirements
- Current and valid SIA CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Good IT and computer literacy
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure
- Confidence working independently in a lone-working environment
- Professional, reliable, and trustworthy approach
Desirable Experience
- Previous CCTV, control room, alarm monitoring, or security operations experience
- Experience handling incidents and emergency situations
- Customer service or client-facing experience
