The Role
As a Product Manager on the Vibe team, you will define and execute the strategy for Mistral Vibe Code and Mistral Vibe Work —Mistral AI’s flagship interfaces for AI-driven productivity. Mistral Vibe Code is a coding assistant designed for developers and engineering teams. It helps users write, understand, refactor, and ship code through developer-native interfaces like the CLI, IDE, and web. It leverages Mistral’s advanced models, integrates repository context, and uses tooling and agentic workflows to automate and enhance the development process. Mistral Vibe Work is an agentic productivity environment tailored for enterprise knowledge work. It enables business users to complete complex, multi-step tasks—such as research, reporting, and automations—across company knowledge, tools, and workflows. AI agents, fluent in enterprise context, drive these processes, making it easier for teams to collaborate and execute high-value work.
In this role, you’ll shape the next generation of AI-driven productivity tools, moving beyond traditional conversational AI to redefine how professionals—from developers to enterprise users—interact with information and create content. You’ll empower millions of users by building experiences that combine Mistral’s cutting-edge models with contextual understanding, tool integration, and intelligent automation. This role demands a blend of strategic vision, technical depth, business acumen, and user obsession. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver intuitive, high-impact solutions that align with company goals and capitalize on market opportunities. Your mission is to bridge the gap between AI innovation and real-world productivity, ensuring that Mistral’s tools are not just powerful but also practical and user-centric.
What You Will Do
- Set the vision by shaping and evangelizing a product strategy for Mistral Vibe Code and Mistral Vibe Work, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
- Lead market and UX research to uncover unmet needs, competitive gaps, and emerging trends in AI-driven productivity for developers and enterprise users.
- Drive end-to-end product development, from ideation to launch and iteration, balancing speed, quality, and user delight.
- Partner with design and research to craft intuitive, high-impact experiences for developer-native interfaces (CLI, IDE, web) and enterprise workflows.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop pricing, positioning, and adoption strategies for successful product launches.
- Align engineering, design, and business teams around priorities, trade-offs, and timelines.
- Maintain a dynamic roadmap that delivers quick wins while advancing long-term strategic initiatives for AI-driven productivity tools.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on building productivity-related or enterprise-grade products (B2B/B2B2C).
- Experience solving complex problems in dynamic, competitive, and ambiguous environments.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, or ML-driven products, including an understanding of technical trade-offs and agentic workflows.
- Deep familiarity with product-led growth strategies, such as viral loops, onboarding optimization, and monetization.
- Relentless focus on solving real user problems for developers and enterprise users, backed by data and qualitative insights.
- Proven ability to align and inspire cross-functional teams (engineering, design, go-to-market) without direct authority.
- Balance of big-picture thinking and hands-on problem-solving, with comfort in both roadmap planning and metrics analysis.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories for executives, teams, and users.
- Ability to thrive in high-velocity, dynamic settings where priorities shift quickly.
- Low ego, high EQ, with a collaborative approach to building trust and driving decisions.
- Self-directed with a bias for action, owning outcomes end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience shipping generative AI consumer products, founder or early-stage PM experience, or the ability to prototype and dive into code when needed is a plus.
