St Helens/Wigan (2 days on-site / 3 days WFH) + ad hoc client travel
Our client is a close-knit team of Employment Tribunal, Employment Law & HR consultants who genuinely love what they do - partnering with organisations as though they are their very own EL and HR department. As a boutique consultancy, relationships matter deeply; they pride themselves on delivering an exceptionally high standard of service, thoughtful advice, and pragmatic solutions that truly support clients’ people and their business. They are now looking for an experienced Employment Tribunal Consultant to join their specialist team. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys advocating for clients, solving complex employment law issues and working in a fast-paced, varied environment where every day is different.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising clients on complex and sensitive employment law matters
- Managing Early Conciliation claims, including liaison with ACAS
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including advocacy
- Drafting Settlement Agreements and supporting documentation
- Preparing written briefings, reports and articles on employment law topics
- Designing and delivering training to clients on relevant legal and HR matters
What they are looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar employment law / tribunal-focused role
- Experience in a consultancy environment is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication skills — confident, clear and client-friendly
- Ability to advise with credibility, commercial awareness and tact
- Someone who enjoys variety, pace and building trusted relationships
